It depends on several things- brand, model of printer, types of inks used, papers used, size printed, etc. I can say from experience that previous canon and hp photo printers I have had range from $.80-$1.20 per 8x10 at the printers best print quality. For just a few prints here and there, photo printers are great- for larger jobs, sending it to a printer is much cheaper
