Hey..One was appraised by an expert on the TV show Pawn Stars 12/27/ 2010. between $3,000 and $4,000 dollars. It looked like it was better than average.
$16 in 1939
50-500 usd
A U.S. revolver from the civil war can go for as much as $2000
The model 1873 Colt Army .45 revolver was about $17.00.
You are not holding it close enough to the computer for me to tell. Seriously, value will depend on EXACT model and condition. It may be $100, or several thousand. It WILL need a "hands on" appraisal from someone that knows old Colt handguns. In the meantime, please DO NOT "clean it up". What you might call dirt, collectors call patina. I recently saw what WOULD have been a $5,000 revolver that had been buffed with a powered wire brush- and was now worth maybe $200. Sorry I can't give you a single answer, but the difference in value between models, barrel lengths, and condition is too great to even make a guess. If you need help in locating an appraiser, leave me a message on my message board.
100-800 USD
You must seek the services of a qualified appraiser
Please state the model and the condition of the revolver. Without that no estimate of value can be determined.
The 1884 Morgan Dollar is common, average retail value is $30.00-$40.00 for a example in circulated condition.
No way to value a firearm with only a serial number, even if provided.
not much info, but if a cap and ball revolver then made about 1847. if cartridge model then need more detail info
value depends on overall condition.....................
