it depends on your weight and bmi (body mass index)
A 5K run is a distance of 3.11 miles.
Oh, dude, a 5k run is like 3.1 miles, right? And since there are 5,280 feet in a mile, you just gotta multiply that by 3.1. So, like, there are around 16,368 feet in a 5k run. But who's counting, am I right?
A fast walking pace is 4mph, this equates to 6.44 kph (approx). Time taken to walk 5k is 5/6.44 = 0.7634 hr = 46 minutes approx. A time between 46 minutes and 1 hour would be reasonable.
5K Or for those that are metric impaired 3.1 miles
3.107 miles.
I've been running 5k for around 6 eweks now (previously unable to run full 5k). I started out at 42 mins but now running 5k in 36.04. I'm still about 30 pounds over my desired weight so hope to improve further. Hope this helps.
Run faster
A 5K run is approximately 3.1 miles. If you're running on a standard outdoor track, which is typically 400 meters per lap, you would complete about 12.5 laps to cover 5 kilometers. This is calculated by converting 5K to meters (5,000 meters) and dividing by the lap distance. Therefore, you'd need to run just over 12 full laps to complete a 5K.
When I ran my first 5k I took 45 minutes. I think around that time.

You can run a 5k two days after donating blood. It is recommended, however to wait until five days have passed.
