12 tomatoes or 3 oz
I just counted 43 grape tomatoes in my 10.5 oz package. This would be approx. 65 in a pound.

12 tomatoes or 3 oz
Nov. 16, 2008. Measuring four "1 U.S. Dry Pint" containers bought at a Publix market in Pembroke Pines, Florida as "Cherry Berries" brand grape tomatoes from Immokalee, FL, with the following measurements recorded: 1. 10-3/8 ounce gross weight, 31 grape tomatoes 2. 10-3/4 ounce gross weight, 31 grape tomatoes 3. 11-1/4 ounce gross weight, 33 grape tomatoes 4. 11-1/4 ounce gross weight, 37 grape tomatoes Each clear plastic pint container weighed approximately 1 ounce or 28 grams, meaning that the gross weights noted above should be reduced by one ounce to arrive at net product weight. Individual grape tomatoes varied in indivudual size and weight as would be expected.
Tomatoes come in a wide variety of sizes. I have seen 25 in a 12oz package, or 3 Roma's weighing 12 oz, or 2 large 'beefsteak' at over 8 oz. each. Not something you can estimate by cups.
Depends on the size of tomato. I have some 1 oz, some 3 oz and one 4 oz.
That is approximately 3 tomatoes
