It depends on the type of iPhone you purchase. The original iPhone was available with a storage capacity of either 4, 8, or 16 gigabytes. The iPhone 3G was available in either 8 or 16 gigabytes. The latest model, the iPhone 3GS comes with the options of either 16 or 32 gigabytes. The more gigabytes, the higher the price, of course.
