Yes and no. Studies have shown that marijuana strictly by it's self has not caused any reported deaths. There have however been reports of those dying in a motorized accident while under the influence. Unfortunately there is no real evidence of it being the cause of the incident itself. On a more interesting note, it is actually estimated that most people driving under the influence of marijuana tend to drive slower, keep a greater distance between them and the other drivers, and are actually more attentive to there actions while on the substance. This is speculated for the reason of reducing the chances of being caught, inadvertently making the individual a safer driver.
