You should eat heathy foods that are low in fat and calories. Fruits and Vegies are great and I would suggest staying away from white breads and pastas. You need to eat them so simply switch to whole grains and wheats :) you'll get used it. Also portion control is HUGE, use a salad plate instead of a dinner plate to help with that. Daily excercise is a biggy also, you need to do cardio and muscle toning 4-5 days a week at least. You also need to keep in mind that there is NO quick fix. good luck Eat fewer calories than you are eating now. Start eating more veggies and fruits, rather than junk food.
