A difficult question to answer not knowing how an average student is defined. If active and female, between 2,200 and 3,000 calories a day. An active male between 3,000 and 4,000 per day. Those less active will require far fewer calories, 1600 to 2000 for females and 1800 to 2200 calories per day for males. Fat intake should also be regulated with no more than 10% of the total calorie intake
On average, a college student carries 3-4 textbooks per semester. This can vary depending on the student's course load and major.

The average college student will change their major two to three times before they graduate. You do not have to declare a major when you first enter college if you do not wish to.

Some studies suggest that the average college student changes majors at least two times in their college career. This is talking just about averages, however, and every school and every student is individual about switching, and how they allow students to switch.
If you want to know how much you need, because everybodys body is different and some people do sports and need more calories. You can go to Mypyramid.gov and find out how much you need a day. I did that and it helps a lot.! But i think a middle school student should get around 2,000 calories a day.
45000 calories
The average is 250 calories.
1,600 to 2,000 calories a day, on average.
The average student usually submits four to five applications. This is a very smart thing to do if you still haven't decided what college is right for you and allows you to compare costs and financial aid for each college. However, the number of applications varies for every student. For me, I only applied to one college because of the program for my major, campus, and price. Only apply to just one college if you're absolutely sure though. Otherwise, apply to as many colleges as you're interested in. Just note that many applications have fees and it can get costly to apply to a variety of schools.
