There are several components to calculate caloric burn for a 10 K run. Figure your weight, body mass (muscle vs fat), fitness level (aerobic capacity and training), your speed MPH, your age and gender. Plus you must figure running conditions such as terrain (sand, asphalt, uphill, downhill), weather (hot, cold, windy). As an average ballpark, a person may burn 600 to 1000 calories. For a better calculation check out a GPS training watch and measure the pace and a stopwatch for time. There are also other apps and sports calculators for this purpose.
471 cal
That's a fast mile. If you are fit enough to run that fast, I would say no more than 100 calories.
about 200-300 calories.. .it depends on how hard you run
To run 1 mile in eight and a half minutes you must maintain a speed of 7.06 mph
As long as you are alive you are already burning calories. And the more physically active you are - the more you use your muscles - the more calories you burn. So how far you have to run depends on how many calories you are aiming to burn. Me, I'll use up about 1000 cals on a 6-mile run.
It depends on your weight, but figure around 100 for the average person...
In the world of exercising and training, there is a simple formula to calculate how many calories are burned during a period of training, which is that to burn 100 calories, you need to run a mile. This means that since there 5km equals to 3.1mi, then you burn 300 calories approximately by running 5km.
Depends on your weight and how fast you run/jog. I'm about 194 pounds and if I run 12 miles at about an 8 minute per mile rate I'll burn between 1700 and 1900 calories depending on what source you use. There's plenty of calorie calculators out there.
Walk about 1/2 a mileThe above answer is actually false. For the average person to burn 100 calories, they must run a mile at an average pace of 7.5 minutes per mile.
I weigh 175 pounds. I usually run for 3 miles at my local gym and can burn 475-500 calories easy if I spend the full 3 miles running.
Im not 100% accurate but I'll say 10 calories.. I can assure you for every 5 mins you run non stop, you burn 44 calories.. That means you r running basiclly 11 mins a mile... N if u run as fast a 5 mins a mile u burn 94 calories... That means how fast you are running for a certain amount of time. Basiclly it all depends how fast you run n how long.
This depends on how much you weigh and how fast you walk. Here are some examples assuming you weigh 150 pounds: 30 minute mile: burn 90 calories 24 minute mile: burn 85 calories 20 minute mile: burn 80 calories 17 minute mile: burn 75 calories
