It has been reported that the muzzle blast "sound" of a .50 BMG is at or above 180 decibels at a distances up to around 5 feet. That is enough overpressure to cause permanent hearing loss. Note: adding a muzzle blast deflector/muzzle break to the barrel of a .50, directs the pressure wave at an oblique angle along the axis of the barrel. In other words - you don't want to stand, sit or lay prone outside the angle of that blast when the weapon is fired.
50.Cal.
up to and in excess of 10000
They both fire the 50 BMG
Depends on which .50 cal, and which cartidge. If you mean a Barrett Model 82A1 sniper rifle, in .50 BMG, standard ball ammo is ABOUT 2800 fps.
The best sniper rifle has to be the barrat 50 calibre it has an awesome firepower, and an awesome zoom. Following up to the barrat 50 cal is the walther 2000. it has a 45 calibre round, but makes up for it in speed.

The Barret 50.cal sniper rifle was invented in 1982.
12 - 15 lbs Actually, modern-day .50 caliber sniper rifles are considerably heavier than the above quote (the above weight is typical for a 7.62mm or equivalent sniper rifle). The "prototypical" 0.50 cal sniper rifle is the US's M82, made by Beretta. It weighs anywhere from 25 to 35 lbs, depending on model and attachments. Remember that a .50 cal (or 12.5mm) sniper cartridge is almost three times the volume, and five times the weight, as a 7.62mm cartridge, which means the rest of the rifle must be very significantly beefier than a 7.62mm rifle.
Yes, the TAC 50 sniper rifle is for learners and novices.
This is subjected to opinion but they most used sniper rifles are the Barret 50. Cal and the Intervention. The Intervention is the more commonly used of the two so it is considered the best sniper rifle.
