This is really subjective as no one has the same physiology, but most people's nipples are healed within 3 to 3 and half months from the time that they were done, but they very well could take up to 6 months...and in some instances upwards of a year. And even still, some people just cannot have nipple piercings, and it's not uncommon for them to just never really heal no matter how well you take care of it. Be sure to keep on a good cleaning regiment in the initial time after getting them done. For this, the best thing to do is what's known as sea salt soaks, and for this you will need non-iodized sea salt which they sell at almost all grocery stores.
You will take a good pinch of sea salt and thoroughly mix this with warm to slightly hot water in a disposable cup. The saltiness of the water should be present but not overpowering, so mix a small bit of the solution that you will use in another disposable cup and taste it to gauge this. Sea salt in conjunction with warm to hot water will act as a very effective astringent, and will do wonders for the fresh piercing. You will have your solution in the cup and will then "cup" the cup over your nipple and let it soak in this solution for around 5 minutes. You will rinse the area with warm water and will then do this to the other nipple with a different cup of solution to completely eliminate any chance of cross contamination between the nipples. For the inevitable "crusties" that you will get on the bar or hoop you will use a clean cotton swab and dip it into the solution and will then gently rub the build up till it breaks up and comes off, but once again, only use one cotton swab per nipple to eliminate the chance of cross contamination, and then rinse the area.
According to Lori Selke, the heal time for nipple piercings vary for men and women. While most men will be healed within 3-4 months, it can take an additional 4 to 6 months for women.
Your ear takes 6 weeks to heal from a piercing.
A navel piercing can take anywhere from six months to a year to heal completely.
How long it takes a smiley piercing, or any piercing to heal up will depend greatly on the care given. Making sure to keep the piercing clean can help it to heal as quickly as possible.
it cant:P
mine took about 2-3 months but it depends on the size of your nipple if they pierced the nipple or the areola and how well you take care of it
It depends on where you got it pierced.
Well the piercing needs to heal, this can take up to a year for a piercing to become seasoned (this is when you can remove the jewellery for a few hours and not have an issue putting it back in). Average heal time can vary from piercing to piercing from 4~6 weeks for some and others a lot longer. Light heals are not considered "healed" and can be damaged by removing the jewellery too soon.
It takes 6-8 weeks for your frowny piercing to heal.
