How long does it take for a sim to activate?

If your sim is stuck in bed or will not move here is what you do. Pause it first! You press ctrl-shift-c at the same time to get the cheat box. Then you type in "moveobjects on". You need to be in buy mode to grab your sim. Then set your sim in a spacy spot in a room. Before you continue make sure you type in the cheat "moveobjects off". If your sim has anything red in the needs you need to type in the cheat "maxmotives" everything but the environment will go up. Make sure that you do NOT unpause it before you type in the maxmotives cheat. They will die.

You don't necessary unlock sim cards you unlock the phone. When you unlock a phone it allows you to use it on other carries (generally gsm based carries) . Example: if you have an AT&T black, say the blood 9000 you have to obtain the unlock code and go through menus and input the unlock code. The phone will then be unlocked, you can then put a tmobile sim in the phone and us it. Side note, you will not get the same type of connection. Phones that are looked are generally designed to work with that specific carrier so in the example you will not get 3G or data service.
