I have a small tattoo in the centre of my palm. It took me ages to find a good tattoo artist that would even do it, when I did she did without a machine so it can go deeper. The way it was straight after wasn't like a normal tattoo, it didn't scab or itch, I just kept applying plenty of cream. I was told it would need frequent touch ups, the first one being after a week, but so far a couple of months in It still looks the same so I haven't bothered yet. I was told mine would fade quicker too because of my job. Any others I've seen have faded more around the edge of the palm because it comes into contact with things more regularly, mine might be ok because it's just small in the centre. You just have to know it won't last a lifetime, but it's worth a try.
