How long are nipples sore after piercing them?

I had my nipples done 11 years ago & a friend of mine just had hers dona about a month ago. In my case it only hurt for about a week, but I am small chested. She on the other hand has more to work with & they were sore for about 3 weeks, It also depends on the type of bra (if you need one) & any "playing" with them. I have heard of people not hurting so they "enjoyed" their new toys too soon & were sore after that for a while. So maybe a couple of weeks to a month
