How long after getting an industrial piercing were you able to sleep on that side of your head with no pain?

I got my industrial about 1 year ago. The first 6 months trying to sleep on it were sore. Now 1 year later and yes, I can sleep on it but in the morning it is still sore.

Pierce an industrial with a gun?
To answer your question, they do not use a gun to do an industrial piercing. they use something similar to a sewing needle that's the best way i can describe it. its much sharper and bigger about a 14 gauge. they have videos on youtube so you can get an idea of the steps taken and the instruments used. i have an industrial piercing myself i don't think that the needle felt any different than getting a regular earlobe or cartilage piercing with a gun both feel the same to me. If healed you should just be able to unscrew and take it out and in. If not healed you will irritate the piercing and end up with a messed up or even infected piercing. Can you not just cover the area with a soft bandage& tape? cover it all to avoid it getting rubbed?

nothing, you can stop getting infections by putting a simple salt solution on the piercing without taking it out and then you can twist it....also when you are able to take out the peircing, each time you put one in, put some antibacterial ccream on the earring!!!

It depends on your piercer. I believe many piercers will say 16 at minimum, though some may not until you are 18. Check the website of your piercer or call to confirm. I was able to get mine at 16.

When I got mine done the pierce said that it would hurt on its own for about a month then after that it will only hurt when you hit it or get it caught on something. When I went to get a consultation they said it was better if you get it on the ear you don't sleep on because sleeping on it can irritate it, but if you do want to sleep on it wait about a month and make sure to change your pillow case 3 times a week.

you can get your naval (belly) piercing at 13-17 as long as you take an adult and the same applys with the tongue piercing but they may tell you to wait until you are 14
