high enough to read, just keep it away from lamps , they produce heat.
Area of floor is 14 x 16 = 224 square feet. Height is irrelevant
Countertops are generally high enough to provide clearance for a dishwasher and other standard height appliances. The usual height is 36 inches above the floor. Use the final finished height of the floor (i.e. including tile) so that appliances will fit properly.
On Floor 36, tap the pictures in the order of how low or high they are from lowest to highest... so it should be like this: Fish Dog Apple Airplane Moon Click the icons around the door in this order: Fish, dog, apple, airplane, moon. There are really two answers. In the case of a bathroom vanity, the standard height has traditionally been 32 inches from finished floor to counter top surface. As we have become taller overall, this has often been increased to 34 inches, as many people find 32 feels too low. In kitchens, the standard remains 36 inches above the floor. Because floors are almost never level, it's common for installers to find the midpoint between the floor's high and low spots in the run of cabinets, and make that point 36 inches. this keeps the extremes from varying too far from the norm.
