S&W Model 16, Colt
It depends on several factors, but a good rule of thumb is "about a mile."
A good handgun for big game hunting would be any manufactures gun in caliber .454 Casull. A good target shooting pistol would be anything chambered in .22 caliber.
You need to give a specific brand, model, and tell what kind of condition it's in to get a good answer.
It's a decent enough calibre, although many have found it to be a bit too hot of a cartridge, which is why the .40 S&W was created.
Probably any small sized glock, all other good ones, Kimber, baretta, springfield are fairly large
Generally, no. The .40 caliber is usually a very large handgun and very heavy/ hard to conceal. It CAN be done, but not easily unless you are a very big person or wear a coat all of the time.
The Universal Arms thirty caliber M1 Carbine, with a Monte Carlo stock is valued at $430 in good condition.?æ Fair condition value is $350.
There is no "best caliber" because it depends on several things. If the child is new to shooting, a .22 is probably a good choice. They don't have much recoil, they are easy to shoot, and ammo is cheap. Many people start beginners on .22s.
If it's a 1863 model then it would be a cap and ball model, not cartridge, and it would be about a 31 or 36 caliber. However, if the piece was converted to cartridge then it COULD be a 32 cal. cartridge.
