Beeman makes several good air rifles & guns. I know of 3 different "Sportsman SS" series that shoot .177 pellets And the RS1 Sportsman that comes with 2 barrels .177 & 22. But I know of no Beeman Air Gun called Sportsman. Just the Sportsman Rifle. If you are talking about the RS1, then yes I would have to say it is a good rifle for the price.
The major air rifle manufacturers are Gamo, Crosman, Benjamin, UTG, Daisy, RWS, Beeman, Mendoza, King Arms, Hornady, Beeman, Air Arms, Air Venturi, etcetera.
it all depends on the condition of the rifle.
Currently it's the Beeman RX-2 at 1125 FPS in a .177 pellet
The Falcon 2 was made in Spain for Beeman between 1981-84. The only oil I use for any of my air guns or rifles are Crosmen Pellgun oil or RWA Pellet gun oil. Never use 3N1 or any other oil or it will start to ruin the seals, never use regular firearms cleaning solutions on an air gun or rifle they will also ruin the seals.
Beeman usually has the Model number on the side of the barrel by the loading port or on the barrel by the hinge on break barrel rifles.
K-Mart and I have seen them at other sporting-good stores
Air rifle ammo is as simple as a BB. the next ammo is a Pellet. Pellets come in different sizes and weights. The size calibers are: .177, .20, .22, .25, .357, 9mm, 45 caliber and finally 50 caliber. Each rifle or gun is designed to shoot a certain size.Crosman,Beeman,Daisy, GamoH&Nand a dozen other companies make pellets for air guns.If you are shooting Airsoftthen theBBs are generally 6mm and made of plasticAir rifle ammo is either BB's or Pellets, depending on what the rifle is designed to shoot.
I would contact Falcon by email. Sales@falcon-airguns.co.uk and ask them.
I suggest you contact Beeman directly and ask your question: they make several different models. Beeman Co 10652 Bloomfield Ave Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Ph: 562-968-5891
