How does teen pregnancy impact society?

In my opinion there are several different ways teen pregnancy's can impact society. There is the fact that young mothers are sometimes forced to drop out in order to prepare to take care of the baby. That goes without saying that there are still many teen moms who manage to complete their education. So in ways it can impact drop out rates, or scholarly levels of society if you will. Also lately with all the television series shining a light on teen girls and what their lives are like being a teen mom, it's almost as if the world is making it a fad. It's almost considered 'cool' to be pregnant at a young age in this generation.
