on the right side of a crvena zastava-cal 7.65mm mod70 pistol you will see a round pin above the trigger push that pin out and the pistol will disassemble by pulling the slide forward. johnny
How much a Zastava m70 costs, varies depending on where you buy it. The price can range from $350 to $750. This concerns a non military version of the rifle.
The original Russian rifle was called AK, no number. The Yugo rifle is really Zastava M70. They fire the same round and the action is pretty much the same. However, the M70 is heavier because it has both a thicker receiver and a thicker barrel. This makes it a bit more accurate and reduces felt recoil. The Russian rifles have chromed bores and the M70 does not, which means it must be cleaned with extra care when used with military ammunition. Military ammo leaves corrosive residue which can eat up the unlined bore. Also, the M70 has grenade launching sights. They are kind of neat, but given the absence of grenades on the civilian market they are quite useless.
M70 means it was made in 1970
There are several websites that one purchase a Dell Precision M70 from. Among them are Dell, eBay, Amazon, and Overstock. There are also quite a few websites that sale parts for Dell Precision M70.
I have read that the magazines from the Zastava Model 67 Cal .380 will also fit the model 70 .32 cal. Unfortunately these are also impossible to find!! I thought magazines could be found somewhere for any pistol but these are totally impossible to find. Somewhere - maybe in Yugoslavia or Serbia I think it is now called - there must be a warehouse full. But for sure no one knows where. I have found more than one comment in gun forums related to the impossiblity of finding these. I tried to email the company in Serbia, but it didn't go through. Interesting, on their website they still proudly advertise the M70 - but no place mentioned to order parts. This is their website: http://www.zastava-arms.co.yu/
It varies by country. The most prevalent individual weapon among Arabic countries would be the Kalashnikov or some variation of it (Zastava M70 and M21, Maadi Misr, Norinco Type 56, etc.), but there are several Arabic countries with strong relations with the West, and who use NATO standard weaponry.
