That would depend on which version you have. The first series has two take down levers on the left side. The front one captures the recoil spring when it is depressed after pulling back the slide, then the rear lever is depressed and the slide can be pulled off the rear of the frame. The other version requires that you depress a small button or stud on the top of the slide when the slide is fully retracted, then pull the slide back a little further, depress the takedown lever on the left side, then pull the slide off the rear of the frame. When reassembling, hold down the ejector, replace the slide from the rear, let it go all the way into battery, then pull to the rear and let it close under spring pressure. This releases the recoil spring.
