"Regular .22 rimfire ammo IS .22 LR.
A weapon that has one shotgun barrel and one rifle barrel either in an over/under or side by side configuration.
Is it a Model 4 or a Model 6 or a rolling block? Try posting over at http://www.remingtonsociety.com/forums/
Keep the over all leingth of the firearm greater than 26" and you can have whatever barrel leingth you desire.
The bore is rifled so as to put a spin on the bullet. This spinning gives a greater accuracy to the bullet, especially over that of a smooth bore.
The Winchester Model 67 was introduced in 1934 as a single-shot bolt-action .22 caliber rifle. It was designed as an affordable and basic rifle for plinking and small game hunting. It was produced until 1963, with over 383,000 units made.
Have it checked over by a gun smith.
That is the Winchester Single Shot, otherwise known as the Model 1885. There were so many different variations of this rifle that each and every one encoutered really needs an individual, hands-on appraisal. For instance, the rifle was chambered for no less than seven different .22 rimfire cartridges, with over 100 total chamberings known for this rifle. More special order features were available with this model than any other Winchester. Barrel lengths from 15" to over 30". There are high-wall, low-wall, thick-side, thin-side, etc. Value could easily range into the thousands. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Requires professional appraisl. Could be 100-10000 USD
if you dont know that then you should not own it.... the barrel should break over and you load it there
The muzzle 9front end) is rounded over- that is the crown of the muzzle. Some target rifles have flat muzzles.
