No, they are not the same. The 3rd generation 8 gigabyte iPod Touch should have a built-in microphone. The 2nd generation does not have a built-in microphone.
For the 3rd generation, there is one already built-in. For the 1st and 2nd, you can buy an external microphone.
because it needs a microphone to work with that only 3rd generation ipod touchs have microphones
that the 4g is a bit thinner, have built-in microphone and cameras
They Already Have...
You can turn off the iPod Touch if you jailbreak it.
which shuffle are you talking about? If its the 3rd generation then no but i don't see why you would need one.
The difference is that a 3rd generation iPod touch has voice control if you purchase the "Apple Earphones with Remote and Microphone". The 3rd generation is also faster and has a better processing system.
apple i pod touch 3ed genteration is faster and has a built in micnot much but the ipod touch 3g has a built in microphone .... also the cases for the ipod touch 2nd generation fits the ipod touch 3rd generation .. xxThat's not completely correct, only the 64gb 3g ipod has a microphone. besides that, the 3g has a faster processor and other improvements like better speakers.
I would recommend the iPod Touch 3rd generation. The capacity depends on how many songs, videos, and photos you would have (and how many apps you think you'll get). The 3rd generation has a 50% faster processor (in 32gb capacity and up), a microphone, and has the fastest Wi-Fi receiver of the iPod Touches.
The 3rd generation iPod Touch is simply referred to as the "iPod Touch 3rd Generation". This simply means that this is the 3rd model of the iPod Touch. Apple began the "generation" trend with their devices with the release of the 2nd model of the iPod on 17 July, 2002.
