how do you turn on a walkman portable cd player
A Sony Ericsson Walkman is turned on by pushing the power button. The power button on most portable cd players is the same as the play button.
well first you would kiss the seat of my chair
You should try replacing the batteries, if that doesn't work then maybe your Walkman is broken.
on the sony walkman cassette player when you try to turn up the volume and it says "AVL5", what does that mean and how come the volume won't go louder??
obviously if it isnt charged it wont turn on, but unfortunatly walkmans are know to just die. im having this exact problem. With your walkman or mine it could be just the walkman. it could be the screen or somthing inside. If it doesnt work it might just be easier or the only thing to do (which is get a new one) If it helps mine does not turn on, it charges, the screen is fine i dont know exactly what the problem is i can only guess but it has been through some abuse. im probebly just going to get a knew one
plug it in
My Sony Walkman turns on fine. Yours may not though. If you are having issues with yours, try changing the batteries. If that is not the case, verify that the walkman is getting power (ie do the gears turn when you press fast forward/rewind)? If not, then it is broken. May as well throw it out unless you have soldering experience. If it is getting power, but no sound is coming out, it is broken. Try a different pair of headphones or the headphones in a different device to verify that they work and if they do, then the headphone out jack is bad. Chances are that is a quick and easy solder fix (repair the the jack... probably 3 solder joints). But it could be the sound processing board is shot. If you have no solder experience and no electronics repair experience, your best bet is to junk it or pay someone to fix it. But to pay somebody to professionally fix it, it will cost roughly $60 (at least that is what it is like in Canada). You can get it fixed cheaper, but it won't be professional grade and usually has no guarantee that it will work.
you need to press the botton on the left hand side then it will turn on.
check the tape, bats, the pause but.....or just by a new one
OK, done that. What next.
The iPad 3 does not feature turn by turn navigation using its native Apple Maps application. However, there are alternative GPS apps on the App Store that feature turn by turn navigation.
