To tie a sleeper knot in your yo yo, make sure that there is a loose loop around the yo yo's spindle.

When you snap the yo yo dowen, or out, when the string is fully unwound, the spindle will rotate freely in the string's loop and the yo yo will "sleep. Then, by giving the string a quick snap, the yo yo will catch on the string and proceed to reel itself back in!
