Well i would start off by telling him about all the good times we have had together. Then i would just come out and tell him how i have been feeling lately about the relationship, yes he is going to take it hard especially if he truly loves you. But if you feel that you have no kind of feelings or any kind of love for this person anymore then it is your time to move on. Sometimes it is hard for you to realize that you are getting held back but after a short period of time you will realize you dont need to sit back and let life pass you by and knowing that you aren't happy. Afterall it might turn out on the good side because you never know what he might do he might just do anything to make you happy!!!
