You could bubble it through limewater. One of them will react to form a precipitate and the other won't.

They also smell different, though I wouldn't necessarily recommend that method.

Is there any difference between air regulators and nitrogen regulators?

The threads are different on Nitrogen tanks. There are adapters to use a Co2 gauge on a nitrogen bottle .

Is there more CO2 or nitrogen?

Which is more polar CO2 andNO2?

NO2 is more polar than CO2 due to the presence of a polar N-O bond in NO2 compared to the nonpolar C=O bonds in CO2. The difference in electronegativity between nitrogen and oxygen is larger than that between carbon and oxygen, resulting in a greater polarity in NO2.

What are the differences between nitro and CO2 in terms of their use in pressurizing beverages?

Nitrogen (nitro) and carbon dioxide (CO2) are both used to pressurize beverages, but they have different effects on the drink. Nitrogen creates smaller bubbles, giving a smoother and creamier texture, while CO2 creates larger bubbles for a more carbonated and fizzy drink. Nitrogen is often used in stouts and ales, while CO2 is more common in sodas and sparkling drinks.

What gas would a fire exinguisher use?

What is the difference between Co2 compressible and Co2 incompressible?

Gasses are compressible and liquids and solids are incompressible. Using this information one can surmise that CO2 compressible would be the gas phase of CO2 and CO2 incompressible would be the solid (dry ice) phase of CO2.

Why is there not much difference in the amount of nitrogen in the air you breathe in and out?

The gaseous exchange that occurs in Lungs and effects differing levels of O2 and CO2 concentrations does not include N.

Percentage of nitrogen in the expired air?

The percentage of expired air is around 74-80% Nitrogen. Because of gas exchange in the lung, expired air is also rich in CO2 and lower in O2 than atmospheric air (which has a 21.8% O2 comp and a .03 - .04% CO2 comp). Thus, the O2 and CO2 values narrow in difference to 14.5-16% and 4-5.5%, respectively.

What is in fire extinguishers co2 hydrogen nitrogen or oxygen?

Usually CO2. Hydrogen and oxygen are fuels for fire. Nitrogen would work but is not usually used as it is too light.
