well..... first you take the sim card out of your iphone.....then you connect the iphone to your computer....the phone will appear under devices as usual then you just sync.....

why yes you can! i just took my sim card out and tried and it still fully charges! Hope this helps,

You just can't sync over a cellular network (which kills data anyway) just use wifi or plug your phone into iTunes. The lack of cellular service should not prevent syncing.

in other words, you cant

you could try and buy a (cheap) prepaid sim card of the same provider that the iphone does support.

To use as a phone, you will need to get a compatible sim card. without it you can still use it for WIIFI internet access through an available router.
