I'd say keep wearing your earrings, but it depends on how long you have had them in if you have onky had them in like me, then you should leave your starter ones in for about 4 months so then when you take them out the hole will not close as much as it would if it was only 6 weeks, if they try to close up without having any earrings in for a while, i suggest you put bio oil around the back of your ear and the front, then try to get the earrings back in and give it a little wiggle until you can feel the stud at the back of your ear, hope this helped :)

Will my ear lobe piercings close up if I leave earrings out while treating infected ear lobe?

In my experience, it all depends on how long you've had your piercings. If it's less then a year or so more than likely they will close up.

Should you wait for your ear piercings to close up completely before getting them redone?

If you can wait, it's a good idea this allows the piercer to better place the next piercings so you get the look you are after.

Do ear piercings close up?

They can close up if small and not used frequently. Larger defects will not close, but if required can be closed by minor plastic surgery.

Do piercings normally go scabby?

No, they shouldn't do. Either your piercing is healing up and hasn't had the stud in it or something is wrong and you should see your GP.

What should you do if your ears are bleeding?

Wash the piercings with antibacterial soap and warm water and leave the piercings alone. The bleeding will stop once the tissue clots up.

Does Claire's do nose piercings?

Definatly not they dont even do a third hole in your ear. idk i got a 3rd hole in my ear but i covered the other one up so they may not have seen it. but they dont do the nose piercings...if your going to a mall they sometimes do it in one of the little stand things in the middle of the mall.

Your ear piercings try to close up after changing the earrings and something that looks a bit like pus comes out of the piercings?

Well it sounds like the piercings are not fully healed and the discharge you are getting (whitish/yellow) is lymphatic matter that the body generates as it tries to heal the piercings( this discharge is normal in all new piercings under a year old ). I would suggest you put in good quality jewellery in your piercings and leave them alone except for cleaning in the shower other than that let them heal up.

Where does the outer ear stop?

The outer ear is made up of the pinna, ear canal, and eardrum. It ends with the eardrum. The middle ear is made up of the hammer, anvil, and then stirrup. The innner ear is made up of the chocela, oval window, auditory nerve, and then the Eustachian Tube.

Which is better a pericing gun or needle for a second hole?

As you progress in your piercings from the lobe up the ear I would recommend getting the second and consecutive holes done by needle piercing in the hands of a professional body piercer. See inside the lobe moving up the ear there is a fine feather line of cartilage which gets thicker and denser as you progress up the ear, at some point you will need to start over gauge piercing to ensure the piercings will heal correctly without discomfort from the cartilage inside the tissue.
