There really is no reason to be nervous performing in front of your sibiling. You just have to trust that they will accept you no matter what. However, it might help to have them perform something for you to maybe boost your confidence and to show you that it if they can perform in front of you, you can perform in front of them as well.
I would talk about how to speak in front of a crowd without getting nervous
Of course. Everyone, even famous people, get nervous sometimes.
Tell only your best friends and try to make them guess with hints. Only 3 of my friends know and if they guess correctly it'll take all that pressure off you cuz you let it all out
Your family members probably ask you to sing for them because you have a pretty voice. Yes. It makes you nervous. Of course it makes you nervous. Still, you are nervous in front of a group of people who love you. These people accept you. This is where it will not cost you if you make a mistake. This is where you can get used to standing up and singing in front of people. Unlike school, you are not doing this for a grade. Here it is alright to mess up. That is why they want you to practice doing it in front of them.
"What is the best technique for not getting scared when acting in front of many people?" "How is it that acting stars never get nervous?"
When this friend needs help playing in front of people you should find someone that they feel comfortable having by there side when they are playing
Joke around about it. It's family do stay calm. They won't laugh... Alot...
If people watching you makes you nervous start by learning how to perform well alone in front of a mirror... Having Yourself starring at you might help a little. (on top of that simply imagine the people watching you are your own reflection) If that doesn't help trying learning how to "space out" or ignore the fact that their are people around you... This can be done by starring or focusing on something other than the people so you don't notice the people around you. Another method is to focus on yourself, by simply focusing on the feeling in your hand, leg, or other body part you can less aware that people are watching you.
