Even if you want to, I'm afraid not. Sexuality is determined from birth and cannot be changed no matter what kind of therapy you go through. There are some people who claim that they can "heal" you and make you straight, but no such people tend to try to scare people into acting straight. These people end up leaving this "therapy" scared and confused, and not "healed" at all. The truth is, there is nothing wrong with you if you are LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transexual) and people saying that they can make you straight might as well say that they can change your DNA. The best thing to do is to embrace your sexuality and just try to ignore the criticism and predjuice that you get. Just do what your gut tells you to!

Seriously, you are lucky: you have twice as many people to fall in love with. Fact is, a great many of us are bisexual -- we just don't act on it! (Maybe we're not as brave as you are!)

Generally any form of resistance to your sexuality is going to cause problems as seen with Ex Gay therapies done by programs like Pfox and Narth.

As far as bisexuality is concerned it can be a very broad term to use. Bisexuality from Kinsey's point of view can mean being emotionally in love with one sex but physically attracted to the other.

This can cause confusion. As far as sexually acting on your attractions, if you are physically attracted to the same sex and emotionally attracted to the opposite you are probably not going to be able to stop yourself from acting on your attractions. The other way around would also be true.

However if you are physically attracted to both of the sexes equally, again, don't resist your attraction, it will do more harm than good.

The simple answer is no, it isn't possible to stop yourself from being bisexual.
