How do you start the shuffle on iPod touch?

If you look at the playing bar to the left hand side of it there is a symbol that looks like to snakes intertwined, this is the shuffle button, tap for it to shuffle, tap again to take shuffle off.

First, you have to click on a song. After that song is played, it will go to a random song if and only if you have clicked on the two arrows crossing over each other and they are highlighted blue (to see the menu of arrows, touch the album art).

yes you can but only if update your iPod touch up to 3.0 which it just came out and costs $10. i got it too. its work really good.
