Build it up slowly. First time, walk past and give eye contact and say hi. Second time, more eye contact and smile a big smile and say hey, then look back to see if she's looking and smile big. Manouver yourself to be around her more and make eye contact, then disappear, making her look for you. Build up to more eye contact and bigger smiles, mess about with your mates in front of her. Say they are idiots in a nice way, then stand next to here, ask her if she is new etc and take it from there If she likes you she will mirror you and do these things back. If she doesn't, she will avoid eye contact with you, frown and disappear so keep looking for someone else, no harm done. On to the next...

You could just walk up to her and make small talk like, how are you doing, and things like that but if it's just all of a sudden she may get suspicious... (if you like her that is).

You could also 'accidentally' bump into her and say sorry and stuff or you coud get her cell number and text her. But that's not exactly talking. Another way is get a group of your friends to walk up to her and her friends... then it it will be a big group disscusion and you can talk to her.
