It all depends on what is wrong with it.
The Crosman model 761XL is designed to shoot BB's or any .177 Caliber pellet. These are the most common pellets you can find. Make sure you select .177 Caliber pellets.

The Model 761XL was manufactures between 1978-81. It'd no longer on the market.

The 761XL is a BB Rifle not a Gun. There are several variations of the model 760 series. However there is only one model 761XL. It was produced 1972-78 (First Variant) 78-81 (Second Variant).
