As with most states, Pennsylvania does not require registration of Title I firearms (ordinary rifles, shotguns, and handguns). The only firearms which require registration are Title II NFA licenced firearms (short barreled rifles and shotguns, machine guns, suppressors, AOWs, destructive devices, etc.) and that's done during the purchasing process.
