If you have music backups of the old iPod in iTunes, you can easily sync the songs with the new iPod.
If you don't have backups, you are also able to transfer purchased songs from the old iPod to iTunes using the "Transfer Purchases" function of iTunes. You won't be allowed to transfer the songs from the old iPod to computer or new iPod if the songs are not from iTunes.
This is how to transfer music from old iPod to new iPod with the "Transfer Purchases" function of iTunes:
Step 1. Plug the Old iPod into computer via the USB cable. Then launch iTunes.
Step 2. Click "File > Device > Transfer Purchases". iTunes will automatically transfer the songs to iTunes library.
Step 3. Plug the new iPod into computer. Then import the songs from iTunes to the new iPod.
There is a way of adding a folder to your ipod and then compressing all your songs and putting them into this folder. The folder should be put on to the ipod in the ipod settings with the other folders like music and photos and such. If you look on the mac website someone will have probably gone into more detail.
plug your ipod to the computer, open itunes, select Music and manually transfer the song to the ipod
no. you would have to sync all of your data from your old phone onto itunes. then u would have to sync that data onto the new phone and then you will have all of your music.
well you need two computers to do this and you click advanced on iTunes and there will be a drop down menu. Then You click turn on home sharing and you must do this with both your computers. Then it will have a box near to iTunes store saying Home Sharing. Click on this and then it will be all the other computers songs. Then you copy the ones you want and then paste them into your library. Then click sync but it will delete the current songs on your new iPod.
Yes you have to sync all the songs at the same time or you will lose them all. When it does this it only syncs the new songs and the old songs won't be lost
If you still have iTunes you should still have your music in it. So you can just put all the music on.OR if you made a playlist you should still have it in iTunes unless you deleted it.Just do what you did with the old one.
because your ipod isn't authorized to the new computer. what i recommend doing is move all music to one computer with a flash drive and then when you delete the songs off of your ipod on the new computer, you will sink the same songs onto it. if that doesn't work, just move your songs onto the old computer. derpinfloogle
no it will not delete it by itself but to download things that are new onto tour iPod then you are going to have to delete it or start downloading things on your iPod with your old computer again.
To delete music from the iPod, you must delete it from iTunes or from certain playlists on iTunes. Then install the revised library or playlists onto your iPod, and it will replace the old collection of music that was on it.
easy just drag everything from your ipod onto your itunes library and just copy it onto your other ipod
Yes. You cannot have two iPods syncing to the same library, but if you get a new device, you can override the old settings with the new ones. The new iPod will sync with your existing library.
if you have a Macintosh: use the name of your old ipod on your new ipod.
I have an iPod nano 1st gen and I had the same problem as u but when I tried to sink it to my new comp. It worked fine, you could try resetting the iPod to factory settings and then just load all your music from iTunes onto it
Not unless you tell it to.
Yes.
Yes, it is possible. In iTunes, restore the new iPod from a backup of your old one. Then, sync the iPod to your computer and your iPod will be restored!
If you have saved your songs to itunes then you can download them onto your new ipod
