Take it to a gunsmith.

ANS:Most modern weapons come from the factory with the receiver already tapped for bases. All you need to do is locate the appropriate bases (Leupold, Weaver, Redfield, etc.) that will fit the weapon, unscrew the plugs and screw on the bases following the manufacturer's instructions.

Always use a proper screwdriver. If you notice, the screwdriver that you just used to tighten up your door hinges may be for a slotted screw but the blade is tapered. That will foul up the slots on screws in your weapon. A proper slotted screwdriver blade for working on a weapon will be square and fit the slot without any play and will be the width of the slot. Spend some money for the proper tool.

Before installing bases, I like to use a drop of Loctite(R) on the screw threads so they don't loosen.
