You are already interesting. The trick is to wake up to that reality. First, don't push it. You will look and sound like a fake, and you will probably end up looking like a fool.

Spend time listening to others talking about their interests, and learn how to ask questions about their interests. Being a motor-mouth about your own brilliance is not the way to win friends. When common ground comes up in conversations, run with that.

Try lots of different activities with different groups of friends. In other words, be curious about life and be willing to jump in without putting yourself in danger.
