In short 'eat less move more' cut down on calories, fatty foods, sweet foods, alcohol, for example, eat more fruit and veg to fill you up, take a walk every day, go to the gym if you can or swim, any exercise will burn calories, just don't overdo it, its hard work but rewarding when you find you lost those few extra pounds ;)
