How do you lock your iPod youch?

You can lock your iPod Touch by simply pressing the long slim button (the "sleep/wake" button) at the top of the iPod. This will shut your screen off. If the sleep/wake or home buttons are pressed, you will see a screen with a lock symbol on the top bar. Slide the bar and enter your passcode if required to unlock.

2. Go to settings

3. Tap general

4. Scroll drown to passcode lock

5. Tap passcode lock on

That is how you lock your ipod

You can't, but if you think that you should be able to maybe send an e-mail to Apple or like iTunes ! Also if you really want to write something and lock it go buy the diary app :)
