Look at the buttplate face. If it hasn't been lost, you should see a thumb-screw type of affair. This is the magazine tube and the turn-screw should be facing right to left. Turn the end so it faces up and down and give a good tug on the magazine tube by holding this thumb-screw and pull the tube completely out of the stock. You should now be able to drop 15 .22 long rifle rounds nose first into the hole in the stock. Push the tube back into the stock all the way back down until you can turn the thumb-screw to keep the tube in place. Pull the bolt handle backward and let it go forward by the power of the return spring. You are now ready to fire the rifle.
