You should at least have one thing in common. It could be the type of movies or rock bands you like and enjoy going to the movies or concerts. You don't have to like sports (it's a guy thing for most.) You both should be doing things on the weekend, but each have 1 day for your friends out of that weekend. It's good for each of you to give the other some head space. He's attentive and treats you well He's polite He's proud to introduce you to his family and friends He keeps dates, remembers your birthday and give you a small gift (you may have to remind him it's your birthday. LOL) I think by now you are getting the idea. If he doesn't treat you with the respect you deserve, is self-centered, keeps breaking dates and never takes you anywhere then it's time to get back on the merry-go-round called the "dating game." Good luck Marcy
