There's no chance to find out if someone has blocked one on SnapChat. Sending a text simply works as usual - the application tells one that everything has been sent just fine, but the message won't be received.

Yes... when you send a text message - if the other phone accepts the message - it sends a 'ping' back to you - to let you know it reached its destination. If someone has blocked your number, the 'ping' cannot happen - and the network will state 'message failed'.
