How do you know if a girl is really interested in you and you haven't met each other yet but you have talked to her for a while and you want to go further then just friends but don't know how?

I would suggest talking to her a bit more (like if you see her with a friend go up and say hello.) before you move ahead. If you're in middle school (or maybe even high school) one of the best ways to do this would be to talk to her when she's around someone. Not a huge group of friends, because she might feel awkward, but just maybe one friend, because if she's interested in you too, she'll want someone she knows and trusts around her to make her feel more comfortable.
I really hope this helped. Your situation sounds a lot like mine. Except I'm the girl and I have no idea what he thinks of me.
Be honest about how you feel and ask them how they honestly feel about you and whether they are interested in taking the friendship/relationship further.
