Well, the first thing you must NEVER do is dump him by the phone or email. Speak to him and tell him how you feel. Give him a reason, and be kind, and be positive. Make sure he understands that you need to move on. If he is a true mate, he'll understand. Maybe you could offer to be just friends? Make sure you are positive you want to leave him first though!
