That's a tough one, but not impossible. First, you have to assume that the girl is only with the guy because she has been with him since forever and she is kinda used to having him around, but the fiery passion that once burned in her breast every time she saw him is now reduced to something like a cigarette end. If you believe that, you're in with a shot. Right now though, she doesn't know you exist, so she has to at least notice you, so make it your business to be where she is. If she's on the vollyball team, let volleyball replace football in your heart (for a while), go to her games, make a point of saying "good game" to her afterwards. Find out what she's reading for pleasure, get a copy, read it as fast as you can, and say to her, "Oh, I notice you are reading "Passages." I was wondering what you thought of Chapter 7." She has to realize that there is another man out there who is interested in the same things that she is interested in. NOw you are more interesting to her than the other guy, but she has to be sure that you're The One before she dumps the current BF, because she doesn't want to be either alone or stuck with a jerk.
