Can you keep CO2 in your bb gun?
Not really. It will leak out eventually. Besides by leaving a charged C02 cylinder in the pistol keeps pressure on the seal and this may damage it over time. I always take the cylinder out of the pistol when I am finished shooting. No matter how much C02 is left int the cylinder. It doesn't cost that much to put a new Cylinder in the pistol when I want to use it again. Besides leaving it in the pistol will eventually reform the seal. I want it to return to a normal shape between shooting sessions. Is it cheaper to buy a new cylinder or have the pistol repaired because the seal is warped.
When your not using a CO2 airsoft gun should you release the gas?
Yes this is true for all C02 airguns. The gas will eventually leak out but over time it will ruin the seal if it is left charged in the gun. If you have an airgun that requires the cylinder to be in place to hold the pistol grip in place. Let the gas out of the cylinder then keep the empty cylinder in place but not tight just enough to keep the grip on the pistol.

There is "NO BEST" C02 pistol per shot. Each pistol reacts differently and is effected by Outside temperature and how fast the trigger is pulled. Some pistols use some of the C02 to make the Blow Back work so they will use a little more C02 than a non blow back Air gun. you can expect to get around 40 to 50 good shots from a cylinder after that the pressure will degrade. Rapid fire also effects the cycle time of the gun and this effects the pressure in the cylinder.
