Your computer may be running too many background programs or programs in general. Things like "onenotem.exe and bluetoothheadsetproxy.exe" which are small, but others like anything that you dont have actively running like Firefox.exe or Iexplore.exe are running in your background and using Random Access Memory. You may wish to stop some of those programs from running and freeing some of your RAM.

Alternatively, you can buy more RAM. Your motherboard and OS play a factor into how much ram your computer can handle before its "excess" and cannot be utilized.

The other problem that could be causing your computer to freeze is the registry contains errors. Overtime they do occur even if you use your computer strictly for "number crunching" or documents. You can try to use check disk or if needed be another program to clean the files for you.
