Make sure the gun is unloaded! Open the the lever fully....pull out the small lever on the bottom of the magazine tube, it's about 3 inches long on the end of the tube. Rotate it counterclockwise to unscrew this tube completely, you can remove it completely out of the guides and off the gun or just enough to clear the frame. Now, with the frame firmly grasped in your hand, DO NOT USE ANY CLAMP OR VISE, rotate the barrel counter clockwise, (as looking down the bbl.), only 90 degrees then separate the bbl. from the frame. If it hasn't been apart for a long time this may require some effort but in no case should you clamp the gun in any vise or use any type of tool. Sometimes another person to help hold the frame while you rotate the bbl. is necessary. If it still won't come apart then get the help of a gunsmith with the proper tools.
Good luck....Marty
