1. Remove the magazine
2. Rack open the slide to remove any shell from barrel.
3. Double check to make sure its empty, close slide
4. Dry fire
5. While holding weapon with right hand, bring your trigger finger up over slide.
6. Using left hand, pull slide back approx 1/8 inch and hold in place with your right trigger finger.
7. Pull down tabs on each side of gun and release finger holding the slide while holding the tabs down.
8. The slide should come forward and off the weapon now.
